A K-12 school district in Pulaski, TN is seeking skilled School Psychologists to support student evaluation and eligibility determination processes. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time positions, providing flexibility in work schedules while engaging directly with students and educational teams.

Location: Pulaski, Tennessee
Position Type: Full-time or Part-time (in-person)
Schedule:

  • Full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Part-time: 2 days per week, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    Contract Duration: August 6 through May 22 (aligning with the school year calendar, including school breaks)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for referred students for initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Review student records to determine eligibility according to Tennessee state guidelines
  • Prepare and finalize evaluation and eligibility reports using TNPulse
  • Participate in manifestation determination meetings to support students with special needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams across seven schools in the district

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with K-12 student assessments and eligibility procedures preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Tennessee state eligibility criteria and special education law
  • Proficiency with psychological testing and report writing
  • Ability to work effectively in an in-person setting and manage caseload across multiple schools
