A school psychology professional is needed to support students across K-12 grades in a school setting located in Redford, MI. This contract position covers the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to contribute directly to student development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies aimed at improving academic and social outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and progress monitoring
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to special education
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective interventions
