We're seeking a skilled professional for a contract opportunity at an elementary campus supporting approximately 430 students, including five mild/moderate (M/M) classrooms. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced workweek and focused collaboration with educators and students alike.

Qualifications:

  • Valid credential as a School Psychologist
  • Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with supporting students in elementary settings, particularly those in special education or mild/moderate programs
  • Strong communication abilities for consulting with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to culturally sensitive, inclusive practices
  • Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment data to identify student needs
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of classroom accommodations and behavioral interventions
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations for tailored educational plans
  • Provide social-emotional and behavioral support through targeted counseling and group interventions
  • Partner closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive school environment
  • Maintain timely and accurate records and case files in compliance with district protocols
