An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support early childhood and elementary education settings. This contract position, based in Rochester, MI, focuses on providing psychological services to children from birth through grade 5, including those in early childhood programs and one elementary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students ranging from birth to 5th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation, intervention, and support to promote the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students.
  • Participate in meetings and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Assist in early identification and intervention for developmental and learning challenges in early childhood and elementary populations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or certification.
  • Experience working with a diverse caseload, including early childhood, preschool, and elementary-aged children.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families.
  • Knowledge of state and federal educational laws and guidelines.
