A School Psychology Specialist is needed for Special Education Evaluations in a K-12 school located in Rogers, AR. This contract position offers a flexible PRN schedule during the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to assess student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide psychological assessments, data analysis, and interpretive reports to support student learning and development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of psychological services
Qualifications:
- Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with special education evaluations and assessments
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
