A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current school year with an elementary school program that includes a preschool, a Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and an Independent Living Skills (ILS) class. The role is based in Roseville, CA, supporting K-12 students in a comprehensive educational environment.
This contract position starts immediately and continues through the end of the school year. It offers an engaging opportunity to collaborate with a diverse student population and provide critical psychological services that enhance student learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students across various programs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and development
- Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid credential or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably with elementary-age children
- Knowledge of psycho-educational assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and families
- Understanding of special education laws and procedures
