A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current school year with an elementary school program that includes a preschool, a Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and an Independent Living Skills (ILS) class. The role is based in Roseville, CA, supporting K-12 students in a comprehensive educational environment.

This contract position starts immediately and continues through the end of the school year. It offers an engaging opportunity to collaborate with a diverse student population and provide critical psychological services that enhance student learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students across various programs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and development
  • Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student success
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Valid credential or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably with elementary-age children
  • Knowledge of psycho-educational assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and families
  • Understanding of special education laws and procedures
