An opportunity is available for an in-person School Psychologist to support two elementary schools in Sahuarita, AZ. This contract position spans the entire school year (CSY) and involves a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role focuses on providing specialized psychological services to approximately 100 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to ensure compliance and student success.
- Provide counseling and support for students to address academic, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assessments and interventions.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credentials or certification.
- Experience working within elementary school settings.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and deliver services consistently over the school year.
