School Psychologist - Oakland, CA

Qualifications:

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid school psychologist credential or license in California
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention techniques
• Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in elementary schools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
• Develop and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
• Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties
• Consult with educators and parents regarding students’ mental health and academic challenges
• Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health awareness
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student well-being
