School Psychologist in Champaign, IL

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state license or certification in School Psychology
• Bilingual skills preferred, though other applicants will also be considered
• Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
• Strong understanding of the MTSS process and best practices in evaluations
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of psychologists

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for approximately 40 elementary students
• Collaborate with a team of two district psychologists to support diverse student needs
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide guidance on intervention strategies and support the MTSS process
• Manage both initial evaluations and reevaluations as required
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
