Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active School Psychologist certification in the state of Arizona
- Demonstrated experience in educational or school-based settings
- Expertise in administering psychological evaluations and assessments
- Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
- Familiarity with special education eligibility processes and IEP development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide crisis intervention and promote positive behavioral support strategies
- Serve as a resource for staff on topics related to mental health and student wellness
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
