A K-12 school district located in Shelbyville, TN, is seeking qualified School Psychologists for full-time or part-time positions. These roles require in-person work and offer the opportunity to support students across seven schools within the district. The contract runs from August 6 through May 22, aligning with the traditional school year schedule and including school breaks.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for initial assessments and re-evaluations of referred students.
- Review student records to determine eligibility according to Tennessee state guidelines.
- Administer and interpret tests and assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and finalize eligibility documentation in the TNPulse system.
- Participate in manifestation determination meetings and collaborate with school teams.
Schedule:
- Full-time option: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Part-time option: Two days per week, same hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM).
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Tennessee.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education eligibility criteria and assessment procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet reporting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
