A K-12 school district located in Shelbyville, TN, is seeking qualified School Psychologists for full-time or part-time positions. These roles require in-person work and offer the opportunity to support students across seven schools within the district. The contract runs from August 6 through May 22, aligning with the traditional school year schedule and including school breaks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for initial assessments and re-evaluations of referred students.
  • Review student records to determine eligibility according to Tennessee state guidelines.
  • Administer and interpret tests and assessments.
  • Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and finalize eligibility documentation in the TNPulse system.
  • Participate in manifestation determination meetings and collaborate with school teams.

Schedule:

  • Full-time option: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Part-time option: Two days per week, same hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM).

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Tennessee.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special education eligibility criteria and assessment procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
