School Psychologist in Tacoma, WA

A contracted position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide vital support within a K-12 educational setting in Tacoma, WA. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to support student well-being
• Participate in staff training and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and positive behavior
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all relevant educational regulations and guidelines

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working within K-12 school environments
• Strong skills in assessment, data interpretation, and report writing
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff
