Remote School Psychologist | Maryland

A K-12 school in Stevensville, MD is seeking a skilled professional to provide telehealth psychological services throughout the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development through comprehensive assessment and intervention.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results to inform individualized student support plans
• Delivering telehealth services addressing mental health, behavioral concerns, and learning challenges
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop strategies that enhance student success
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to comprehensive evaluations
• Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with relevant legal and ethical guidelines

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state of Maryland
• Experience providing psychological services in a K-12 educational setting
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual assessment tools
• Strong knowledge of child development, mental health, and special education law
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
