A K-12 educational institution in Tempe, AZ is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support to students throughout the academic school year on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with children from diverse backgrounds, helping to assess their psychological well-being and academic needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and education staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
  • Gather detailed behavioral and academic data to inform recommendations and support student success.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Appropriate state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in an educational setting.
  • Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with school staff and families.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality.

Location: Tempe, Arizona
Duration: Contract position for the complete school year (CSY)
