This contract position offers a full-time, in-person role dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to students, focusing on a caseload of approximately 100 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). With a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, you will play a vital role in promoting student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students requiring special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address student needs effectively.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and consultation regarding behavioral and developmental concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 100 students efficiently.

Work Details:

  • Location: Tucson, AZ
  • Setting: Two elementary schools
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, fully in-person
  • Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
