A K-12 school in Vernon Rockville, CT is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide support during a leave assignment. This contract opportunity requires a professional dedicated to promoting student well-being through psychological evaluation, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address student needs and improve academic and social outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with special education eligibility determinations
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in accordance with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing instruments and educational policies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic school environment
