Located in the Virginia Beach area, this contract opportunity is for a School Psychologist specializing in elementary education. The assignment spans from January 5, 2026, through June 16, 2026, with full and part-time candidates considered. The position requires delivering comprehensive psychological services within elementary schools, including assessment, testing, and participation in meetings such as ARD, re-evaluation, and IEP sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and testing for elementary-aged students.
- Participate actively in ARD, re-eval, and IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement student support plans.
- Manage caseload as assigned, with age groups focused primarily on elementary students.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal education regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid State Licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Active Department of Education (DOE) Certification.
- Open to candidates with 0 to 10+ years of school psychology experience, including new graduates.
- Ability to work school days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Commitment to serving students in a conventional school setting (No VOC or hybrid work arrangements).
