An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to contribute significantly within a K-12 educational environment in Apex, NC. This full-time contract position spans from July 16, 2025, to June 5, 2026, focusing on providing essential psychological services to students.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Location:
Apex, NC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs
- Provide consultation services to families and school personnel
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver professional development workshops as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
