A contract opportunity is available for a seasoned professional in the role of School Psychologist, located in Washington, Pennsylvania. This position provides 40 hours per week and focuses on supporting students through psychological assessments, counseling, and individualized education program (IEP) services, specifically for special education and gifted students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological testing and evaluations for special education and gifted students
- Deliver counseling services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Utilize experience with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to enhance student outcomes
- Provide support during leave coverage, ensuring continuity of services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in school psychology
- Experience working with SPED and gifted student populations
- Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and strategies
- Strong counseling and communication skills
- Ability to manage schedules and caseload efficiently
