A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 academic year in a K-12 public school setting located in Waterbury, CT. This contract role begins on August 25th, 2025, and concludes on June 11th, 2026, with working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations of students to identify learning and emotional needs
- Prepare detailed reports based on assessments
- Provide counseling services to support student well-being
- Collaborate effectively with the PPT (Planning and Placement Team) to develop educational plans tailored to individual student requirements
- Deliver direct support to students to foster academic and social success
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid CT 070 School Psychologist License
- Demonstrated experience in school psychology within the elementary setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and report writing
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
