School Psychologist in Wauchula, FL

A part-time School Psychologist position is available to serve K-12 students in a public school setting near Wauchula and Arcadia, FL. This onsite role requires a commitment of four days per week, supporting a diverse caseload across all grade levels. Candidates must hold a valid School Psychologist license issued by the Department of Health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and well-being
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide consultation and counseling support to students and staff
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state regulations and district policies

Qualifications:

• Current School Psychologist license through the Florida Department of Health
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Strong knowledge of educational psychology principles and legal requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively onsite four days per week; candidates willing to commit to three days may be considered pending administrative approval
