A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year in the Wellsville and surrounding areas in New York. This role offers an on-site work environment, focusing on serving K-12 students across two component districts, providing vital psychological assessment and evaluation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and administration to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding student mental health and learning needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid New York State School Psychologist License.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to providing on-site services; virtual work is not available for this position.

Position Details:

  • Full-time contract for the academic school year.
  • Work schedule of 35 hours per week, with a potential to increase up to 37.5 hours.
  • On-site presence required across two districts in the Fillmore/Hinsdale area.
