A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year in the Wellsville and surrounding areas in New York. This role offers an on-site work environment, focusing on serving K-12 students across two component districts, providing vital psychological assessment and evaluation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administration to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding student mental health and learning needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid New York State School Psychologist License.
- Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to providing on-site services; virtual work is not available for this position.
Position Details:
- Full-time contract for the academic school year.
- Work schedule of 35 hours per week, with a potential to increase up to 37.5 hours.
- On-site presence required across two districts in the Fillmore/Hinsdale area.
