High School School Psychologist in Northampton, MA

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide crucial psychological support and evaluations in a high school setting. This contract position is focused on covering a maternity leave, offering the chance to make a significant impact on students' well-being from August through November.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license

Location:

• Northampton, MA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for approximately 8 students per month
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored intervention plans
• Provide individual and group counseling services to support students' mental health
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a comprehensive understanding of student needs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and school policies regarding psychological services
