Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification from the Nebraska Department of Education with a K-12 School Psychologist Field Endorsement.
- Demonstrated understanding of school-based assessment and eligibility procedures under Nebraska Rule 51.
- Experience facilitating Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) at various organizational levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families.
- Proven skills in organizing and leading Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Commitment to providing resources and direct support for students’ behavioral and emotional needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret their results for eligibility determination.
- Provide leadership in district and building-level MTSS initiatives, offering guidance on tiered intervention strategies.
- Lead MDT meetings and partner with IEP teams to develop and monitor effective plans tailored to student needs.
- Serve as an expert resource for faculty, staff, and parents on issues related to mental health, behavior, and development.
- Deliver individual and group counseling to support students identified with emotional or behavioral challenges.
