An opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support middle school students in Winnetka, IL. This contract position spans the current school year, providing valuable services to aid student development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed.
  • Interpret assessment results and offer recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
  • Monitor progress and adjust support plans accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with middle school-aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, evaluation techniques, and educational regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including students, families, and school staff.
  • Demonstrated skills in counseling and crisis response.
