An opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support middle school students in Winnetka, IL. This contract position spans the current school year, providing valuable services to aid student development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed.
- Interpret assessment results and offer recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
- Monitor progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with middle school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, evaluation techniques, and educational regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including students, families, and school staff.
