This full-time contract opportunity begins August 3rd, serving a diverse caseload of over 900 students. As a vital member of a dedicated district team, you'll advance success for learners across all grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Nebraska Department of Education certificate with K-12 School Psychologist Field Endorsement required
  • Demonstrated expertise with psycho-educational assessments and interpretation
  • Solid understanding of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) frameworks
  • Experience collaborating in MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) and IEP (Individualized Education Program) settings
  • Strong consultation skills with ability to meaningfully engage educators, families, and administration
  • Commitment to providing direct social-emotional support to students

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special services under Nebraska Rule 51
  • Lead and coordinate MTSS efforts at the district, school, and individual levels to support diverse student needs
  • Facilitate MDT meetings and actively collaborate with IEP teams to develop practical, impactful intervention plans
  • Serve as an expert resource for teachers, families, and school leaders regarding child development, mental health, and classroom management strategies
  • Deliver individual and group counseling for students requiring behavioral or emotional support
