In Taylor, MI, there is an opportunity for a skilled professional to provide psychological services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position requires a dedicated individual to support students' mental health and educational needs through assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (310 cert)
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Experience in onsite service delivery preferred
Location:
- Taylor, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessments
- Deliver direct counseling services to students experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student interventions
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
