An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide vital communication support within an educational setting. This contract position involves working one-on-one with a student, ensuring that their learning needs are effectively fulfilled.

Qualifications:

• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Colorado Department of Education Educational Sign Language Interpreter certification
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with a strong understanding of educational terminology
• Previous experience interpreting in K-12 settings, particularly with students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators and support staff

Location: Arvada, CO

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation for the student in classroom settings
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate effective communication and enhance the student’s learning experience
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and track student progress
• Adapt interpretation techniques to meet the individual needs of the student
