This position is structured for on-site work only and welcomes candidates with either full licensure or a provisional license (if EIPA is under 4.0). Revel in the chance to build invaluable experience while working a manageable 3.75 hours each day.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language and interpretation skills, especially in educational settings
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with early childhood (PreK) students
- Ability to collaborate with educators and support staff in a classroom environment
- Hold, or be eligible for, a provisional license if EIPA score is below 4.0
- Commitment to fostering communication access and supporting students’ engagement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate interpretation services for PreK students in all classroom activities
- Partner with classroom teachers to facilitate seamless communication and access to the curriculum
- Positively contribute to students’ social and academic growth through effective interpreting services
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards consistent with school policies
