ASL Interpreter | Derry, New Hampshire

A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment located in Derry, NH. This contract opportunity begins ASAP and continues through June 19, 2026, with a schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and effective sign language interpreting services across a diverse caseload of K-12 students in various classrooms and age groups.
• Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students, teachers, and school staff to ensure equal access to educational content.
• Collaborate with educators and support personnel to create inclusive learning environments.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) license required.
• National certification is highly preferred; however, an Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.8 or higher will be accepted.
• Written EIPA certification is required.
• Must be available for onsite work exclusively.
• Prior experience interpreting in K-12 educational settings is advantageous.
