Sign Language Interpreter – Virtual On-Call Assignments (K-12)

This opportunity involves providing virtual sign language interpretation services for staff members who are deaf or hard of hearing. Interpreters will work on an on-call basis to support meetings, professional development sessions, and various trainings, helping to ensure effective communication throughout the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality virtual sign language interpretation for educational staff.
• Interpret during meetings, professional development workshops, and other school-related training events.
• Respond promptly to on-call requests to accommodate immediate communication needs.
• Collaborate with educators and administrative staff to facilitate accessible environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• California credentialed Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) with an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher.
• Experience working within the K-12 educational setting preferred.
• Ability to provide accurate, timely interpretation in virtual formats.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism aligned with educational standards.
