Educational Interpreter - Nashville, TN

Seeking skilled Sign Language Interpreters to support K-12 students in Middle and High School settings near Nashville, TN. This contract role offers an opportunity to work full-time, Monday through Friday, within a dynamic educational environment serving a general education student population.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing clear and accurate sign language interpretation for students in both middle and high school classrooms
• Facilitating communication between students, teachers, and staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to assist students’ educational progress
• Maintaining confidentiality and adherence to all school policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
• Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher is required
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
• Ability to work primarily on-site during standard school hours (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
• Strong communication skills and commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

• Location: Schools within the Franklin area near Nashville, TN
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Duration: Contract through May 22, 2026
• Caseload: Three positions available; two in middle schools and one in a high school
