Sign Language Interpreter in Oroville, CA

A K-12 school in Oroville, CA, is seeking qualified professionals to provide virtual sign language interpreting services for staff members who are deaf or hard of hearing. This contract position is on an on-call basis, supporting meetings, professional development sessions, and various trainings throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and effective virtual sign language interpretation during staff meetings, professional development, and other training sessions.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to facilitate clear communication and access.
• Respond promptly and professionally to on-call assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid California credential as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI).
• EIPA score of 4.0 or higher.
• Experience interpreting in educational settings, preferably K-12.
• Ability to work on a PRN (pro re nata) basis with flexible scheduling.

Location:

• Oroville, California (virtual interpreting services).
