A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, serving K-12 students in a school setting located in Salem, NH. This contract role runs from ASAP start through June 19, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 35 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include providing interpreting services for a diverse caseload of K-12 students, supporting communication across varying ages and classroom environments. The role requires on-site presence to effectively facilitate student engagement and access to educational content.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) license
- National certification is highly preferred; however, an Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.8 or higher with a written EIPA component is acceptable
- Experience working within educational settings for K-12 students is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support student needs and collaboration with educators
