Educational Interpreter - San Francisco, California

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter supporting a high school student aged 14 during the 2025/2026 school year. This role requires 33 hours per week and offers engagement throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

• Current 4.0 EIPA or RID certification is mandatory
• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings
• Ability to effectively communicate and interpret for a high school student

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality sign language interpretation to facilitate effective communication between the student and educators
• Support the student's participation in classroom activities and social interactions
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
