Qualifications:

  • Certified Sign Language Interpreter
  • Minimum EIPA score of 4.0
  • Experience interpreting for educational settings, particularly with middle school-aged students
  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and staff effectively

Location: Bothell, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person interpreting services for deaf or hard-of-hearing students in a middle school setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to facilitate effective communication and support student learning.
  • Prepare for interpreting assignments by reviewing lesson plans and attending meetings as required.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to ethical standards in all interpreting activities.
