School Speech Therapist - Alabaster, Alabama

A K-12 school in Alabaster, AL is seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a contract position for the upcoming school year, from August 1, 2025, through May 22, 2026. This onsite role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, providing evaluations, direct services, case management, and supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Manage student caseloads effectively
• Supervise and mentor SLPAs to ensure quality service delivery
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) licensure in Alabama
• Valid Alabama teaching certificate required
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong caseload management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
• Candidates with strong SLPA experience will also be considered
