A K-12 school in Alabaster, AL is seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a contract position for the upcoming school year, from August 1, 2025, through May 22, 2026. This onsite role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, providing evaluations, direct services, case management, and supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Manage student caseloads effectively
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs to ensure quality service delivery
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) licensure in Alabama
- Valid Alabama teaching certificate required
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong caseload management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Candidates with strong SLPA experience will also be considered
