A part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Alameda, CA, serving an elementary school caseload on a contract basis. This position offers work for two days per week, beginning as soon as possible through the end of the school year. The role provides valuable experience in school-based speech-language services, ideal for licensed clinicians looking to impact young learners’ communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school policies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status.
- Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy services.
- Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders common in elementary school children.
