An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a vibrant educational setting committed to serving students with special needs. This full-time position is for the 2025-2026 school year, focusing on a diverse K-12 student population aged 5 to 22. The school environment fosters growth and learning through tailored programs designed to meet individual student needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or relevant field
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with students with special needs, particularly in a school setting
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Location: Clifton Park, NY (K-12 School Environment)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
  • Provide guidance and support for students with dining and feeding concerns, including dysphagia
  • Ensure compliance with all state and school district regulations regarding therapy services
