A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school setting in Albany, NY. This contract position is designed to cover a leave, providing vital speech therapy services to students in need.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a valid license to practice.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting.
  • Ability to deliver services via traditional in-person therapy as well as teletherapy.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is an asset.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech-language impairments.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom.
  • Provide teletherapy sessions where applicable to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and service delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).

  • This position is located in Albany, NY, serving an elementary school community.
