Located in Albany, OR, this position offers a valuable opportunity for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to contribute to an elementary school setting on a contract basis for the current school year. The role focuses on providing essential speech and language support directly onsite, helping students achieve their communication goals in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide individualized speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) appropriate for school settings.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite at Meadow Ridge Elementary School.
  • For SLPA candidates, availability for 1–2 days per week with potential additional hours at another location.
  • For SLP candidates, flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules.

Location: Meadow Ridge Elementary School, Albany, OR.

Schedule:

  • SLPA: 1–2 days per week with the possibility for additional hours.
  • SLP: Part-time or full-time options available.
