A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full contract school year position in a K-12 school setting located in Anderson, SC. This role supports students with speech and language needs, delivering effective therapy services that promote communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
- Provide direct therapy services to students within the school setting.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligible or licensed to provide SLP services in educational and healthcare environments.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within schools.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.
