This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based in Anniston, Alabama, serving K-12 students across multiple school buildings. The role offers the opportunity to work in a contract capacity throughout the current school year, providing specialized speech therapy within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pull-out speech therapy services in a dedicated speech room environment.
- Manage caseloads primarily focused on elementary students, with some middle school populations.
- Provide speech therapy coverage across 2 elementary schools and 1 middle school.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each student’s needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Alabama licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different grade levels effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
