A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at a K-12 school in Antioch, CA. This permanent role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities throughout the current school year, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across all grade levels (K-12).
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification or license appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working as an SLP in K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidenced-based treatment strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care.
