This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a Florida school setting. The position involves providing speech and language therapy services across elementary, middle, and high school levels within multiple schools. Both full-time and part-time contracts are available, with some roles requiring itinerant work among assigned schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state licensure and school district requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
  • Current Florida state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
  • Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Location: Apopka, FL

Employment Details:

  • Contract duration: Current school year through May 29, 2026
  • Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time (approximately 25 hours/week)
  • Some positions may be hybrid or on-site, with itinerant duties for part-time roles
