A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in overcoming communication challenges during the 2024-2025 school year. This contract position is based near Arlington, TX, within a school setting focused on fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Your expertise will directly impact students’ academic success and social development by assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment for various communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Deliver therapy services, including teletherapy options, tailored to meet students’ unique needs
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches to maximize outcomes
  • Support students in developing effective communication skills to enhance academic and social participation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Texas State SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings is preferred but not required
  • Comfort with teletherapy and direct/indirect services is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary educational environment
