Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting, supporting students' communication development and helping them overcome speech and language challenges. This contract position is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a valid School SLP credential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of student evaluations, goals, and progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) development
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Valid state licensure as a School Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children and educational teams
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech therapy techniques and assessments
