A K-12 school located in Arvada, CO is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification for a full-semester contract position. This role is ideal for an experienced professional dedicated to supporting students' communication development across diverse age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress regularly
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives that support student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize responsibilities within an academic calendar
