A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Ashland, OH. This contract opportunity runs from August 19th to May 19th for the 26/27 school year, encompassing 37.5 hours per week. The role involves providing essential speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 65 students using a 3:1 service delivery model.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy services three weeks each month
- Collaborating with a part-time SLP who focuses on younger students and conducts evaluations
- Allocating one week monthly to consult with teachers, complete IEP and progress report documentation, and present at professional development sessions for staff
- Participating actively in the development of treatment plans and interventions tailored to student needs
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Pediatrics experience, particularly in school settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Skilled in providing speech-language services in alignment with school district protocols
- Strong organizational and communication skills for collaboration and documentation
