A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Ashland, OH. This contract opportunity runs from August 19th to May 19th for the 26/27 school year, encompassing 37.5 hours per week. The role involves providing essential speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 65 students using a 3:1 service delivery model.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct speech and language therapy services three weeks each month
  • Collaborating with a part-time SLP who focuses on younger students and conducts evaluations
  • Allocating one week monthly to consult with teachers, complete IEP and progress report documentation, and present at professional development sessions for staff
  • Participating actively in the development of treatment plans and interventions tailored to student needs

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Pediatrics experience, particularly in school settings
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Skilled in providing speech-language services in alignment with school district protocols
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for collaboration and documentation
